First, I must commend you on reaching the depths of Eyetique's web page, as you are obviously an inquisitive surfer of eyewear and the people that immerse them in it. I must insist before I bore you with my brief bio that you set aside some time to come in and check out the latest and severely unique spectacles that Pittsburgh has to offer. We have four locations that span Pittsburgh and I am fortunate to be working, by and large, at store one- Squirrel Hill.
I stumbled into the Eyetique years ago on a road trip to my hometown Toronto when Brad (whom I had the kismet to spend undergrad together) suggested that I stop by his brother Norman's store in Pittsburgh. I immediately fell in love with the place. Eyetique was, and still is, heads above cool and everyone working there was terrific and vastly knowledgeable. I got the feeling that one and all enjoyed working there; I know, imagine a place where the people actually enjoy their place of employment.
Faltering through undergrad with absolutely no direction, Brad and I, during an epic bike ride thought it would be a great idea if I pursued a path in optometry. To make a long story short, several years later, a Bio degree in hand, I gave a shot at med school. Fortunately, I came to the realization that med school and I were like Moses and Pharaoh. The Red Sea split and on the other side was not the medical side of Eyetique but the corporate side.
So here I am already growing roots in da 'Burgh- a city of great neighborhoods, Lombardi trophies, incredible local bike trails, O-fries, and of course, the Eyetique.
Come by and I'll set you up with a fantastic pair of glasses.
